April – Whippet/Saluki Cross – 3/4 years old
Update From April’s Foster Carer – April is an absolute delight and extremely loyal – she’s become my husbands shadow. April loves her walks as long they aren’t too long (she starts pulling to go home when she’s had enough!), she much prefers a mad 5 minutes running around the garden with a soft toy or soft ball then collapses for the rest of the day. She would love a canine friend in the home and I haven’t found a dog she didn’t like, but I’m sure she would be very happy as an only dog as long as the people are home for her and give her lots of attention. She really does love the kids (much more than my dogs ever did!) She is a little too interested in my hens for my liking so in her new home it would be best if there aren’t any and we keep the Guinea Pigs upstairs in the bedroom for safety. She doesn’t try to go upstairs and she is more than happy to stay on the ground floor. April is a lovely girl who is going to make a smashing family companion.
Original write Up – April has come to Three Counties because she was a stray and she is now in a foster and ready for re-homing.
April is the most stunning girl with the most delicate features, expressive eyes and floppy ears with a mind of their own.
April has the most charming way of puffing her cheeks when she breaths.
April is an affectionate girl who love her fuss. April appears quite confident and enjoys the company of people.
April can be quite relaxed and chilled but she also likes her mini zooms in our secure exercise area followed by a big sleep in her comfy bed.
April takes treats from us very gently and she’s starting to like to play with cuddly toys.
We expect April to be ok with other dogs. It’s unlikely she will do well in a home with a cat. If there are children in your home they will need to be 10 plus.
April could be left for 3 hours but not on a regular basis. April will require a garden with 6 foot security. We re-home in a 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincs. Appointment only.
