Bell – Corgi/English Bull Terrier/Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross – 2 years old
Update – We have discovered that Bell is nervous of thicker set young men. We don’t know Bells history so she may have had a relationship with one in the past which wasn’t positive. Bless her, she is fine with everyone else and incredibly loving. This may take a bit of time for her to get over. With patience, love and understanding this should be achievable.
Update – Bell’s been with us in the office today and she was so excited, she was like a little whirlwind to start with. Fast forward 5 minutes and she had run out of steam and was cuddled up on our settee relaxing. After wards she had a little run around the exercise area, again she was initially very excited and she chased balls and had treats. Bell soon settles and becomes like a little shadow to you and just wants to shower you in kisses.
Original Write Up – Bells owner unfortunately has gone to prison, and she has come as a bit of a surprise to the rest of the family who didn’t know she existed!
So we can only speak as we have found her while she’s been with us this short time. And so far she’s been a little cracker! And we’ve got quite a soft spot for our Bell. If you’re looking for a companion that is a bundle fun, loves lots of fuss and cuddles and wet kisses then Bell is your girl.
When Bell comes into the exercise area she is quite full on and will have a good old run round and round the paddock but she runs out of steam quite quickly. She loves chasing her toys and running round and round. She’s quite well behaved and will listen when you tell her to sit. And she will take treats very nicely from you. When we sit down on the chairs in the paddock it doesn’t take long before Bell is settled, lying at your feet. She is just a sweet loyal girl. Bell also travels well in the car.
Bell hasn’t lived with a cat or a dog as far as we are aware. So we are suggesting that she might do better at this point as the only companion. We’ve started introducing dogs to Bell and she barks and runs over and takes a few moments to settle. When we’ve walked past other dogs in the kennels with Bell, she does react to the noisy ones but is good with the ones that are quieter. Bell could live with children that are a older 12 +.Bell could be left for 4/5 hours as long as it’s preceded by a walk or garden play time. 4 1/2 foot fencing at least would be required at least.
