Benji – Dandy Dinmont/Yorkshire Terrier Cross – 6 years old
Benji has come to Three Counties because of illness in the family
Benji is a very sweet boy who is nervous at the moment and a bit head shy. He needs to build his confidence with a family who are patient and really understand little dogs. It would be more than helpful if his new family have had dogs before. Benji will not be a dog that will want to be cuddled straight away and his confidence will need to build up. If you go too quickly with Benji to start with it will set him back and frighten him. So baby steps and let him come to you. It’s possible that you will need to visit him more than once for him to get to know you.
Benji is a good boy and he will sit beautifully for you and take treats gently.
Benji appears to have a very loyal little nature and he likes to sit at your feet.
Ideally, Benji would do better as the only dog in the family because of his confidence building but he could possibly be homed with a calm neutered female. We would discuss temperaments and take it from there. We have no cat history. If there are children in the home they will need to be 12 plus.
Benji will need a garden with 4/5 foot security. He could be left for 3 hours and not on a regular basis.
We re-home in a 50 mile drive of Bourne lincs. Appointment only.
