Bentley – Dane Hound – Great Dane/Grey Hound Cross – 18 months Old.
Update – Bentley’s confidence continues to grow and he’s a happy boy who loves to come out and play ball. Bentley will bring the ball back nearly every time and he will drop it near you to throw again. Bentley loves his play time and he can amuse himself like a dream. Bentley loves to stretch his legs and run round and round our secure area followed by a lovely long rest in a comfy bed. He’s a lovely young boy who’s going to make a smashing, loyal companion.
Original Write Up – Bentley has come to Three Counties because his previous owners say they can’t cope with him. They bought him off Facebook. It looks like Bentley has not been walked very much and his claws are extremely long. Young dogs do require a reasonable amount of exercise to be happy and content.
When Bentley was bought into Three Counties by his previous owners he was visibly very anxious and we were a little concerned. Fast forward 4 hours and he was a different dog. His tail was wagging and he was nice and bouncy and keen to show off how well he sits and gives you his paw. Quite a transformation! So we were very happy about that and it appears that he just needs different circumstances and positive reinforcement.
We are told that Bentley can be a little excitable around other dogs on the lead. When he is off the lead in a secure area he is much happier and plays with other dogs. We have no cat history.
Bentley is a very big dog so if there are children in the home they will need to be 12 plus.
Bentley will require a garden with 6 foot security. We re-home in a 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincs. Appointment only.
