Evee is a one year old Siberian Husky X. (DOB 01/04/2022).
She has come to us because her previous owner is in ill health and has changed jobs all of which mean that he no longer has the time to look after Evee. Evee was being left all day on her own and during that time she got into mischief. She chewed various things! This is actually to be expected as she is still a puppy and would have been very bored. The owner then put her outside in a kennel but she escaped the garden so for the last few months she has been on a chain in a kennel.
Evee is a friendly girl but has obviously not had any training and this is essential for (all dogs) but particularly Huskies, who are very strong characters. We will be working with Evee to teach her. Because of her background we are looking for a new family who have experience of the breed and will have the time to commit to ongoing training and socialisation. As a young girl it will be best to not leave Evee for more than a couple of hours and you will need to build up to this.
Evee is very playful and has lots of energy. She is a strong girl. She also tends to get over excited. Evee lived with 4 children and her previous owner says that she was fine with them. We would like a home where any children in the new family are teenagers.
Evee is ok with most other dogs but she does become very excitable so careful introductions will be needed.
Evee does not like cats.
