Indira – Husky – 8 Years Old
Indira has come to Three Counties because her previous owners are moving and can’t take her with them.
Well….what can we say about Indira apart from what an “Ace” dog she is, with beautiful ‘Ice Blue Eyes’. Indira is packed with personality and she will always want to have a conversation with you and “Woo woo woo” tell you all about the woes of the world and the hard day that she’s had (Not).
Don’t let Indira’s age put you off, she has a love of football that any youth would envy.
Indira is clever and she will sit and give you her paw, and the other paw, do a magnificent high five and a rather impressive double high five.
Indira is a dog that is happy to be walked on her lead. She’s will pull a little to start with until she’s finished her business and then she settles into a nice walk. Indira will chase small furry animals so best she’s kept on her lead and we know that she is more than happy about that as long as she’s had her little bit of garden fun time. After all she is a fun time girl, who is very up beat.
Indira loves her comfy bed and a settee and she loves affection and tummy tickles. Indira takes her treats gently and sometimes in true Indira fashion she chooses to play with them before she eats them.
The advantage of a slightly older dog like Indira is that she is active and enjoys her walks but if you fancy an easier day, Indira will happily go along with that as well. So the odd duvet day isn’t out of the question. But she isn’t a lazy option.
When Indira meets dogs when she is out walking she has been ok.
Indira has lived with two other dogs before. A big one and a little one. Indira got on reasonably well with the little dog but it wasn’t always harmoniess with the larger dog. Ideally we would like Indira to be the only dog in her new home but if there was another dog it would have to be a calm smaller neutered male. We would discuss the situation and temperaments.
Indira will not do well in a home with cats, free range chickens and small caged animals like gerbils etc. She will show an awful lot of interest in these! Indira is very inquisitive.
Indira has been around children from the age of 8 up and she has tolerated them well.
Indira will require a garden with at least 5 foot security. She is still very agile.
Leaving time for Indira is 3/4 hours and not on a regular basis. Please build that time up slowly. We re-home in a 50 mile drove of Bourne Lincs.
