Robster – Staffordshire Bull Terrier – 6 years old.
Lovely Robster has come to us because his owner has had to have major unexpected life changing surgery suddenly, previous to that Robster was a stray dog that was handed to Three Counties. Robster has been returned to us as per the re-homing conditions to be re-homed.
Robster is turning out to be a very special boy who may have had a hard life.
Robster is very friendly and he loves everyone he meets. He can be a good boy for you and he will sit and lift his little paw up in the air.
Robster loves his toys and he has amazing football skills. His football keeps him amused for ages!
Robster initially is full of beans and quite bouncy and then after about 10 minutes he runs out of steam and rolls over for tummy tickles and then he loves to give you wet kisses. He’s just a lovely boy.
When Robster first came to Three Counties the first time it was clear that he had had a hard life before and over a period of time we think we have discovered what had happened to him.
His tail has clearly been broken and self healed. Robster has few teeth and the flesh above his eye sockets had wasted away for some reason. When Robster went in to be neutered it gave our vet the opportunity to have good look at him. It appears that Robster has at some point in his life been in a accident which has hit his head and broken his tail. This has changed his skull and teeth. He developed dreadful ulcers in his gums and the infection has spread up to his eye sockets and wasted the flesh above. Robster is peppered with old scars swell. Robster has had vet treatment and he is fit and well now.
Despite all of this Robbie is a smashing boy with a very for giving nature.

Robster can be a bit jumpy if there is a loud noise or something is dropped unexpectedly he can be frightened. He can be a bit scared of other dogs so he will need gentle introductions and quieter walks to start with.
Robster, ideally will need a home where he is the only dog.
Robster, we think will be fine with children however he is bouncy so it would be better if there are any in the family that they are older.
Robster could be left for up to 3 house and not on a regular basis. We re home in a 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincs. 5-6 foot security will be needed in the garden. Appointment only.
