Sage – Tiger Brindle and White Staffordshire Bull Terrier – 2 years old.

Sage has come to Three Counties because she was escaping the low fence in the back garden when she was left unattended.

Well what can we say about this smashing little dog. Sage is a heart stealer! Once you’ve met her you will be swept off your feet. Sage has the sweetest nature and she’s absolutely adorable. A real top dog!

Sage loves her play time and she loves her toys. Sage’s favourite toy is a tennis ball at the moment (although we don’t expect the ball to last too long) and she plays fetch beautifully. The best way to play fetch with Sage is to play with two tennis balls. If you play with one she will not let you have it. So use two and then when she runs back with the first one she will drop it in anticipation. We have found her ball return to be almost 100%.

Sage can be very well behaved and she will sit beautifully for a treat and she will take it with a very soft mouth.

Initially sage is a little rambunctious but she runs out of steam quite quickly and then she likes her comfy bed or settee.

Sage loves affection and she loves her tummy tickles and giving you kisses.

We feel that Sage has huge potential to be a smashing family companion and with positive training she can do so much more.

Sage is clean in the house and good at night. Sage is good in the car.

Sage has lived with another dog before and she is fine with other dogs when out and about. Just a little excitable. If sage was to live with another dog it would be better if it was a calm neutered male. She would also love to be the only dog in the family to mop up all of the families attention.

Sage has only lived with older children and we would like it to stay like that. She is nervous of crawling toddlers and youngsters wanting cuddles.

We have no cat history.

Sage has been able to get over a 4 foot fence so in her new home we would like to see 6 foot fencing just to be on the safe side.

As a young dog we wouldn’t want her left more than 2-3 hours.

We re-home in a 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincs. Appointment only.
