Sidney
Re homing 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincolnshire. High fencing required. Viewing by appointment only in between 10-3pm

Sidney – Great Dane/Tiger Brindle Mastiff Cross – 1 year old.

Sidney has come to us because he was found abandoned and tied to a bus shelter.

Sidney loves everyone he meets and just wants to shower you with kisses. He’s quite well behaved for a young boy and appears to have had some basic training because he will sit and give you his paw. He has learnt his name and comes when you call him. He likes to chase balls and run around with you. He takes his treats very gently for a large dog.

Sidney loves to spend time with us in our office and he happily makes himself comfy on our two seater settee and and even though he is a big lad he can curl up quite small. Sidney is quite partial to 40 winks on our settee as well. He’s a smashing office companion and he would love to keep someone company who works from home. He wouldn’t be far from your side.

Sidney has been to the vets to be neutered and he was a good boy in the car and appeared to thoroughly enjoy the journey.

Sidney doesn’t appear to have been very well socialised and this makes him nervous of other dogs. So we think that Sidney would do better in a rural location so he can have quieter relaxed walks where there aren’t too many dogs. In a bit of time we would expect this to improve with a relaxed attitude. We have no cat history but we don’t think he would mix well with a cat. If there are children in the family they will need to be 12 Plus.

Sidney’s new family will need to carry on some basic training with him. Having a larger dog requires responsibility when out on a walk because they are obviously stronger. Please bear in mind that Sidney is a very powerful boy and he’s not very good on the lead at the moment.

Sidney will need a secure garden with at least 6 foot fencing. Re homing is within a 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincs. Appointment only.
