Tessie – Jack Russell – 9 years old
Tessie has come to Three Counties because her family are moving and can’t take her with them.
Tessie is an amazing little girl who is bustling with personalty. Tessie is a very upbeat girl who loves everyone.
Tessie is a busy little girl who’s very inquisitive and very clever.
Tessie is a good girl and she will sit for her treats which she loves. Tessie loves to play chase with you and chase toys. Tessie has the lovely three legged Jack Russell trot. Tessie hasn’t got a nasty bone in her body, she just has a very sweet nature.
We are told that she loved her walks and we find her good on the lead.
Tessie is currently kennelled with her sister Pippa who has come to Three Counties for the same reason as Tessie but they are as happy apart as they are together so we are happy to home separately, and preferably, if one was to be homed before the other, Pippa first. This is purely because Tessie is very content on her own. However if a family would like two dogs they can be homed together.
Tessie is fine with other dogs and sometimes can get quite excited.
We have no cat history and if there children in the home they will need to be 8 plus and understand that dogs don’t always want attention especially when asleep etc.
Just because Tessie is a little older doesn’t automatically make her an ideal companion for an older person because she is lively and she will need her little walks. Tessie will not thrive if she is left for more than 3/4 hours and that time will need to be built up.
In Tessie’s previous life she lived outside in a kennel with her sister. We believe they played in the garden and were taken out on their walks. In Tessie’s new home she is to be an indoor dog, who is part of and included in the family, so there may be some initial adjustment, but they adapt and twig onto these well deserved home comforts quite quickly.
Tessie will require a garden with 5 foot security. We re-home in a 50 mile drive of Bourne Lincs. Appointment only.
