Three Counties Junior Club
Three Counties Junior Club information for parents.
The Three Counties mission is to accept, care for, and find homes for unwanted, lost, and stray dogs.
The aim of our newly launched Junior Club is two fold. The Club membership fees will go a small way towards the £200,000 that the rescue needs each year. Our biggest hope for the Club is that it will raise awareness of the charity amongst the future generation of dog owners, rescuers and volunteers.
So if you have a dog, rescued or not, if you’d like to support a passionate local charity and if you have a child that would like to learn more, then the Three Counties Junior Club could be for you. The club is aimed at children 6-12 years.
A Junior Club member will receive a welcome pack on joining. This will contain a certificate of membership and some Three Counties goodies. A quarterly newsletter will arrive in the post with features on the dogs at the rescue, relevant book recommendations, puzzles and competitions. And more! As membership grows, so too will the newsletters.
Club members will also be invited to an annual summer event at the kennels. The children will be able to meet some of the dogs and to find out about them, the volunteers, and the care the dogs need, amongst other things. They will have the opportunity to ask questions and to learn first hand. Hands on learning experiences always have great impact.
We hope you will support us.
