Max is a very handsome boy.  He is friendly and enjoys the company of people although he can be a little jumpy and nervous of new people. He seems to like the company of males.  It would seem that Max has had very little training in his young life and will need a family who can work with him.  He does know some basic manners such as sit and give paw.  He likes his treats but does tend to snatch them from you at the moment so that needs more work.

 

Max loves to be outside and enjoys bounding around.  He has a lot of energy and is very bouncy. He is learning how to walk nicely but does require a lot of ongoing training in this area.  He gets very silly when he sees his lead and will bite it and not let go.  He thinks this is a game! Max will benefit from a harness. 

 

We do not know what Max thinks about cats but he isn’t always keen on other dogs so a home where he can be the only one is what he needs.

 

Given time and patience Max is going to be a super boy but his new owners will need to have the time to continue his training.
