Lester is a German Shepherd born 18/09/2020. Sadly, Lester has come to us because his previous owner has passed away and their partner is unable to manage Lester on her own due to disabilities. He was being left alone for 8 -9 hours a day. Lester is crate trained and although he whines initially it is only for a few minutes and then he settles.
Lester is a lovely friendly boy and he seems to really love men. He enjoys being outside and loves to play with a ball. He loves being in his own garden. His previous owner says that he likes to sun bathe and also loves a paddling pool in the summer. Lester is not quite so happy on his walks. He pulls on his lead and often reacts to small dogs by whining and barking. He is better with dogs of his own size.
Lester knows all his basic manners. He loves belly rubs and cuddles. Lester apparently likes to hide under things. He enjoys being groomed.
Because Lester can be a little funny with some dogs we think that he will be better in a home on his own. Lester does not want to live with a cat.
