AJ was hugely over weight when he came into us and could hardly walk. After many weeks on a special diet and with gentle encouragement to exercise and play AJ is now down to a normal weight.  Sadly the neglect he suffered and the enormous weight has affected his joints and although he no longer struggles to walk his joints are stiff and he may have issues in the future.  For this reason AJ is available for long term foster. AJ is a wonderful boy and very friendly but he needs to be in a home on his own with just a single person as he does tend to become quite attached and possesive over his main carer. He will benefit from being in a loving home with one on one care,  where he can build his confidence. You will need to continue our work with his diet.  AJ needs to be the only dog in the house.
