Sammy is the most adorable Greyhound X Lurcher. Sammy originally came to Three Counties because he was a stray. He was rehomed by us some years ago but he was younger then and still a little bit of a mischievious monkey and he ended up back with us. He was born approx August 2013 so he is now 10 years old. He has been with us a long time and would really like to find a home of his own.
Sammy is a smashing boy. He is very friendly and affectionate and loves everyone he meets. He is warm, gentle, loyal and loving, a beautiful soul who needs his own family.
Sammy will want to be with you and when you are close he likes to lean on you to have strokes and cuddles.
Sammy loves his play time and he’s a joy to watch. He will frolic and prance and act like a proper goon. Sammy becomes a real comedian when he plays with his toys. Just one ball will amuse him for ages.
Sammy is good on his lead and he enjoys his walks.
Sammy appears to have had a hard life and if you look closely you will see tiny scars peppered around his body.
Sammy is a very clever boy because everyday he pulls his bedding out of the bedroom part of his kennel and places it at the end of his run so he can lay in the sun. So it’s fair to say that Sammy enjoys his home comforts.
Sam is going to make a smashing family companion with his loving nature.
Sammy will need to be the only dog in the family and also no cats as he would chase them. If there are children in the family they will need to be teenagers.
