Bear’s previous owner says that he is nervous of many things but we haven’t really seen this. He is a friendly boy and loves everyone.  He is full of life and will jump up to put his front paws on you to get your attention.  He does love to have a fuss and likes being with people.

 

Bear is a very handsome boy  and knows all his basic manners.  Sit, down, lie down, off, wait etc.  He takes treats nicely. His previous owners say that he is possesive over his toys.  He also seems to be very interested in the broom and washing being removed from the machine!  He will attack both.   The best solution here is to perform these chores when Bear is in another room.

 

Bear has not been socialised with other dogs.  When he was a pup he had entropia (inward rolling eyelids) which required surgery and the breeder kept him away from all of the others while it healed up.  Consequently he is not keen on other dogs or cats.  This may improve over time with careful introduction but we feel that Bear needs a home where he can be the only animal in the house.  Bear is very nervous of the Vet.

 

Bear is also not keen on children.  He doesn’t have much experience but his owners say he doesn’t like their loud noise.  We think Bear is probably best in a quiet, adult houshold. If you have experience of the Bulldog breed, even better.

 

Bear isn’t keen on the car but is ok.
