Archie is a Labrador X originally from Romania. He was born approx October 2020. He has come to us because the rescue centre where he was originally in the UK has unfortunately had to close down. Archie had been living in the same kennel with another dog before coming to us.
Archie is a super boy, he is very nervous when first meeting new people. This is probably due to all the changes that have happened to him over the last few years. Once he is in a stable environment he will settle down. When he is out he does not like to be approached by people too suddenly and he especially doesn’t like people waving their hands around. Archie seems to prefer women to men.
Archie does know his basic manners and will sit very nicely and give you his paw gently in return for a treat. He walks quite nicely on a lead. He likes to be outside and likes to play with his toys.
Archie was very good with Harry the dog that he previously shared a kennel with and is mostly ok with other dogs, however we are looking for a home where he can be the only one in the family. . We do not know what he is like with cats but think that a cat free home will be best for him.
Archie travels well in the car.
