Taz is a very handsome Shar Pei born approx October 2016. He is a big boy. Taz has come to us because his elderly owner can no longer manage him as her husband is seriously unwell.
He is a friendly boy and likes people. He is used to children of all ages but because of his large size we think any children in his new family should be a minimum of 10 years. They will need to understand that Taz does not like to be pulled around but is happy to play.
Taz knows his basic manners. He loves to have attention and he isn’t keen on being left alone for too long as he becomes anxious. Taz is not really interested in toys. He likes to have a blanket to sleep on.
Taz likes to go for walks and is reasonably ok although he is a strong boy. He will benefit from the use of a harness.
Taz is ok with other dogs when meeting them. Taz absolutely does not like cats so will need a cat free home.
Taz had surgery for entropia when he was a puppy. This is a common condition in Shar Pei’s. His eyes are now absolutely fine.
If you are interested in Taz. please phone Gyll Mauchline (Between 9:00 and 17:00) on: 01778 424953 or 07708 589792. If you cannot get through, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible or Email Gyll
