Pearla is a Poodle X Springer Spaniel, DOB 23/03/2022. She has come to us because her previous owner is expecting a 4th child and as she already has 3 children with learning difficulties she is no longer able to cope with Pearla.
Pearla is a lovely little girl and very friendly once she knows you. She loves to be around people but will initially bark at new visitors to her home.
Pearla has a sweet nature and she knows her basic manners.
Pearla loves to be outside to run around and play. She loves playing chase and also ball games. she enjoys long walks and has a lot of energy. Pearla also likes to sunbathe. She is very vocal and will bark when she is happy but also if she is anxious. She is anxious when visiting the vet.
Pearla is quite shy with other dogs and might bark when out on a walk. She is protective of her food from other animals and children, also anything she may have stolen, EG a tissue from the bin! Pearla is usually ok with cats but will chase them if they come in her garden. We think she will be best in a home where she is the only animal. Also because she guards her treasures and can jump up we think any children should be at least teenagers. A perfect home for Pearla would perhaps be an older couple who can give her plenty of time and attention and love.
As Pearla is a Poodle X she will require regular trimming to keep herscoat nice. NB. Photos were taken before she had gone for her groom and trim. Standard Poodles and Poodle X breeds do not really shed so can be a good option for people with allergies.
