He is a lovely boy and incredibly handsome.  Trix is friendly and likes to be with people but he is a little nervous to begin with.  He enjoys attention and likes a cuddle.  His previous owner says that he likes to sit on the sofa where he can watch what is happening in the street.  When left home alone Trix was left in a crate where he also slept overnight.  He does like to have people around so he needs a family where someone is at home most of the time. 

 

Trix does know some of his basic manners but he hasn’t had much training so he  has a lot to learn.  He is still jumping up and he is also still pulling and dancing around on his lead.  We are working with him on this but his new owner will need to continue our work. 

 

Trix likes his toys particularly the soft fluffy ones. which he does tend to destroy but that is part of the fun!  He also likes the rubber chew toys like Kongs. 

 

Trix has only ever been in a car twice so he might need time to get used to this.   

 

Trix has previously lived with a cat and they got along ok.  He is ok with most other dogs but  not so keen on the smaller yappy ones.    Trix was used to seeing his owners grandchildren aged 5 and 7 and he was fine with them but could be a bit boisterous so  we think any children in his new family should be teenagers.  He loves to lick people!  

 

Trix does not like fireworks.

 

Trix is obviously still very young and needs a lot of ongoing training so his new owner needs to be experienced  and will need to have the  time and patience to continue our teaching. Once settled in a home he will make a fantastic pet.
